Friday, June 13, 2014 To hear an mp3 recording of the PrayerLine, click here. http://media1.imbresources.org/files/203/20379/20379-111373.mp3 “And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.” (1 Thessalonians 5:14, HCSB) Hi, this is Eleanor Witcher of IMB’s prayer office, asking you to bring comfort through your prayers to those believers who are discouraged. Members of a Zhuang church in East Asia are struggling and need encouragement. They are already small, and their number is dwindling and they don’t know why. The leaders, a husband and wife, continue to strengthen their relationship with God, and encourage members to do so as well. Three believers hosted an Easter party and invited their family and friends. The Good News was shared but the spouses of these three are not yet believers. Workers with a heart for a Last Frontier people group engage in ongoing training throughout the year to bring the Good News to messengers and prepare those who receive Truth to take it back with them when they return to their homeland. They strive to present the message clearly and to teach the Bible stories in an easy-to-understand way. Many Aymara believers of Peru are facing discouragement and frustration with the lack of interest in the truth of the Gospel among the general population. For the most part, people are so set in their traditional ways that they are not open to the Gospel message. Leaders are providing ongoing discipleship for the believers who are there. * Please pray that each of the believers will find at least one person who is open to being taught the truths of Scripture.  * Intercede for messengers to learn the stories well and be able to share a compelling presentation each time they sense that a good opportunity is available.  * Pray for the Zhuang people who have heard the truth, asking that the walls that separate them from knowing God will be broken down.
