“I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” (Philippians 1:3-5, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktum of United Arab Emirates (eastern Arabian Peninsula).

ISAAN OF THAILAND (EE-sahn) - The Isaan Team writes: “Revelation 7:9 tells us that people from every tribe and nation will stand ‘before the throne and in front of the Lamb’ in praise and worship. We look forward to that day--and rejoice that we are seeing people from different nations work together now to reach the Isaan so that they will be a part of that throng! This past month, a great team of volunteers from the Philippines came to Isaan to share Christ with a group of students; next month, a group from the United States will follow up and continue to share. Praise God that He uses people from every country to glorify Him! Please pray for God’s Holy Spirit to move and work among the students, drawing them to salvation and discipleship. Pray that God will be glorified!”

SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN PEOPLES - God is at work in the refugee camps in northern Uganda! Thank you for praying for Ugandan Baptist pastors who are sharing Christ, particularly near Baptist Global Response’s well-drilling sites. Two “preaching points” (new works) have started that are well attended, despite strong opposition from followers of another denomination that has strong animistic teaching. Praise God that two young men have already trusted Christ! Please continue to pray for the spreading of the Gospel in these camps, particularly among the unengaged, unreached people groups (UUPGs) there, such as the Dinka, the Nuer, and the Zande.
