| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST TODAY’S PRAYER "May the LORD be praised, for He has heard the sound of my pleading.” (Psalm 28:6) WORLD LEADER - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone (western Africa, between Guinea and Liberia). KHARKOV, UKRAINE (HAR-kov) - “Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest’” (Matthew 9:37-38, ESV). Praise the Lord of the harvest for a volunteer team from Mississippi that has chosen to come and work in the Kharkov region of Ukraine, even in the midst of the uncertainty of the times! Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of many for a great harvest during their time of labor alongside brothers and sisters in Christ in four small cities where this same team has ministered for several years. Intercede for those who will follow up, in the weeks and months ahead, with each contact made during this time of ministry. Ask that they will be steadfast and bold as they continue to reach out in love to their neighbors in the communities where they live. RIVER TOWN ZHUANG OF EAST ASIA (jwahng) - Pray that the members of a Zhuang church will be encouraged. They are struggling. They are already small, and their number is dwindling and they don’t know why. Pray that the leaders, a husband and wife, will continue to strengthen their relationship with God, and that the members will have this same desire. Ask that they will see fruit from their efforts of sharing the Gospel. Pray for the spouses of three believers to come to faith. These three believers hosted an Easter party and invited their families and friends. The Good News was shared at the party. Pray for those who heard the truth, asking that it will begin to break down many of the walls that separate them from knowing God.
