| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST May 20, 2014 "I sought the Lord, and he answered me.” (Psalm 34:4a) WORLD LEADER - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Borut Pahor of Slovenia (central Europe, between Austria and Croatia). HONG KONG AND MACAU, CHINA (ma-COW) - In Macau, a new government housing estate has now been completed with 9,000 units that will be housing up to 60,000 residents. Across the street is a new private housing estate that will house up to 20,000 residents. Up to 80,000 people will be living in this very small area, and at the moment, no place for worshipping the living Savior has been established. Pray that the groundwork of evangelistic ministry can begin now so that a place for worshipping Christ can be established in the very near future! NEW LABORERS FOR THE HARVEST - Thank you for praying for April’s Missions Expo. As the applicants explored the process of serving internationally with IMB, they were challenged to open their hearts to go in obedience to wherever God pointed them. Even during the Expo, God revealed His next steps--for some, to continue in the process; for others, to divert to a different plan. We trust that God’s perfect plan will indeed be made known to each person. Please pray for them as they continue seeking and exploring, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
