"If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:14)

WORLD LEADER - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo of Solomon Islands (western Pacific Ocean).

ISAAN STUDENTS OF THAILAND (EE-sahn) - “In the past several years, new cross-cultural workers with other Great Commission Christian organizations have moved into the Isaan region to share the Gospel and establish churches. Two new families and a single woman have also decided to move to Mahasarakham to work with the large student population in the area. Give thanks to the Lord of the harvest for sending workers to His harvest field (Luke 10:2)! Please lift up these workers as they make this transition in the next few months. Pray for the Lord’s leadership as they make decisions about where to invest their lives and how to engage students here. Finally, pray that the many students will come to know Christ through the combined efforts of our Isaan Student Team and these new workers.”

SONGHAI OF WEST AFRICA (SONG-high) - “Our Songhai Team has a big problem! It’s one that we didn’t anticipate. The problem is that our discipleship cannot keep up with our evangelism! Before you ask, ‘How is that a problem?’ let us explain. We’re so honored and humbled at how the Lord is working among the Songhai. In the last 16 months, we’ve seen 150 Songhai pray to receive Christ. These people have heard as a result of our national believers being bold in their testimony, our team members sharing faithfully, and our volunteers taking the Gospel to places that have never been reached. We’re continuing to pray for more people to hear the Gospel and receive Christ, but we cannot keep up with the growing rate of Songhai professing Christ. It’s not a bad problem to have; it’s just one that needs to be remedied quickly. As our wide seed-sowing is taking root after years of fervent prayer for it to do so, we’re now faced with this problem: How do we disciple all these believers with such a small labor force? Pray for our team as we seek to train and equip the national believers not only to share their faith, but also to be disciplers of the Word. Ask the Lord to send more laborers into the harvest field to disciple the growing number of Songhai believers. Pray for our team to have wisdom and discernment as we seek to disciple all these men and women in their personal relationship with the Lord.”
