"I call on You, God, because You will answer me; listen closely to me; hear what I say.” (Psalm 17:6)

WORLD LEADER - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Capitan Regents (Co-Heads of State) Dennis Amici and Antonella Mularoni of San Marino (southern Europe, an enclave in Central Italy).

MEDITERRANEAN TURKS OF TURKEY - Mediterranean Turks live in southern and central Turkey within a few hours’ drive of the Mediterranean Sea. Some of them live in bustling tourist cities with thriving industries, while others live an agricultural lifestyle in small villages. An estimated 99.9 percent of Mediterranean Turks are adherents of Islam. There are a few churches located in the larger tourist areas and a few local churches scattered throughout the rest of the region, but very few members of this people group have had a chance to hear the Gospel. Typically Mediterranean Turks are very hospitable, often inviting guests to drink tea, share a meal, and share in conversation. They love to discuss religion and politics, often taboo subjects to many Westerners. Turks have very strong family structures, with extended families often working together and supporting each other. Unfortunately, this means that new Christians are often ostracized by their families and may find it difficult to find the support or help that they need. Please pray for the salvation of the Mediterranean Turks.

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN SEOUL, KOREA (sohl) - Please join missionaries Robert and Ellen Hale in prayer for a new believer named Jin*. “Rejoice with us over her recent baptism and commitment to discipleship training! Jin is growing in her walk with the Lord and is reaching out to her fellow students. Please pray for her parents as well as she seeks to share the Gospel with them. They have been vehemently anti-Christian in the past, and Jin is struggling with the emotional fallout from her decision to follow Christ against her parents’ wishes. Please pray that Jin’s spiritual roots will grow deep and that God will use her to bear much spiritual fruit for His glory.” (*pseudonym)
