People tell about Your wonderful works.” (Psalm 75:1, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Philemon Yang of Cameroon (western Africa, between Nigeria and Chad). KAZAKHS OF KAZAKHSTAN (KAH-zahks) - Students are often searching for what they really believe and think as well as what they want to do with their lives. Pray that as they study, they will run into kingdom people and hear the Truth. Ask that as they seek, they will find the Truth. Pray that their generation will be one that transforms their society by transforming families and friends. THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN UGANDA - There is an urgent need for specialized personnel at Uganda Baptist Seminary. A missionary couple who has faithfully served at UBS since 1998 will leave for their final stateside assignment next summer and will then retire. The academic dean position has been transferred to a younger missionary who has served on the faculty for about four years. There is now a great need for a long-term worker to come and take over the business manager/treasurer position, which will also be vacated when the couple retires. Uganda Baptist Seminary, which currently has nearly 500 students from seven countries in East Africa, desperately needs someone to come and manage the business office and finances of the school. Please pray that God will lead the person of His choosing to come soon so that he or she can work alongside and learn from the missionary who is currently serving in that role before she leaves.
