Since more than 80 percent of the population are “oral preference learners,” workers among the Bambara of Mali are developing a story set so that they can hear God’s story. This story set will allow many people across West Africa to have an opportunity to hear the Gospel. Workers continue to craft, test and record the stories. There is still much work to be done, so ask that the workers will be steadfast in continuing the work. India's population is now more than 1.2 billion, and Hindi speakers, including those living in Canada, need the message of Jesus Christ. A select group of men, women, theologians, evangelists and writers are in the final stages of the translation process for an updated Hindi New Testament.  Workers in the state of Gujarat have been working for some time to produce accurate, understandable translations of Scripture in the Gujarati language so they can be used in evangelism and discipleship and be made available for all believers. Some Scripture portions have already been translated and printed. Currently they are finalizing the translation of the Book of John and plan to have it printed this month.  * Please pray that the Gujarati language work will continue uninterrupted, that the translations will be accurate and understandable, that there will be no editing errors, and that the printing will go off without any problems.  * Pray also that the printing of the Hindi New Testament will be completed soon, asking God to bless the distribution and use among Hindi speakers. * Pray for wisdom to know how to distribute the Bible stories once they are completed, for this project to be fruitful, and for many Bambara to come to a knowledge of Jesus through His Story.
