| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST September 30, 2014 "At daybreak, LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Alassane Dramane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire (western Africa, between Ghana and Liberia. NYUNGWE OF MOZAMBIQUE (NYUN-gway) - It’s an area named after the color of the tarps that once provided temporary shelter for people who had resettled there after the flooding of another area of Tete city. Eventually the flood waters went down. Some people moved back to the place from which they had been evacuated, while others stayed. Bairro Azul, is it is still called, is now a heavily populated area on the north side of the Zambezi River in Tete, Mozambique. Please pray for a church to be planted in Bairro Azul. Some believers who recently went and shared in this area said that they didn’t meet anyone who expressed a desire to respond to the Gospel or even to hear more from God’s Word. Ask God to give people eyes to see and ears to hear the Truth. Pray for believers living in this area to be salt and light and to be prepared at all times to share Christ’s love with their neighbors. TUAREG OF THE SAHARA DESERT (TWAR-eg) - Abdulaye* can be found on the side of the road under a tree, next to a small table where he sells everyday items like tea, sugar, matches and candy to his neighbors. He sees everyone who drives or walks by and knows all of his neighbors by name. He often takes a break from his table and has a round of tea with his friends who stop by. A believing family stopped by one morning, so Abdulaye made tea and they all talked next to his table on the side of the road. As they talked, Abdulaye heard about Jesus and His sacrifice for our sins. Abdulaye thought the stories were good, but he did not believe in Jesus. Please pray that Abdulaye will believe and share Jesus with every person who passes by his small table on the side of the road.
