 WorldView: Platt: Opposition reveals our beliefs
The rise of militant secularism — and increasing efforts to make the practice of biblical faith socially and legally unacceptable — are slowly raising the cost of discipleship in the United States. Maybe that’s a good thing, observes new IMB president David Platt, who noted that months of praying about leading the IMB instilled in him a "deeper, narrowing, Romans 15 kind of ambition" to preach Christ where he has not been named. If you are a believer, pray desperately for the more than 2 billion who have yet to hear the name of Jesus and for those seeking to share His love with them. See also:

 Students come ‘Face2Face’ with life in East Asia
IMB’s Face2Face summer program sends students overseas for two months of discipleship and ministry. This summer students from California Baptist University built friendships and learned what’s it like to live in an East Asian megacity. And by reaching out to the community, they’ve become part of people’s lives.

International World Changers (IWC) offers opportunities to see God at work across the world, trading the tourist's mindset for a missionary's heart. Our 1- to 2-week projects focus on the unreached peoples of the world in faraway places, from Italy to Thailand.
