“Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.” (Psalm 2:8, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Xi Jinping of China (eastern and central Asia).

PEOPLE OF FOUR CITIES BETWEEN TWO RIVERS, CHINA - A group of Chinese believers traveled to a different province to engage minority people group with the Gospel. After walking around for several hours, they realized that it was noon and they were tired and very hungry. There seemed to be no restaurants in sight! After walking some more, they finally found a very tiny restaurant. The owner was asleep on the sofa as they entered, and they kindly asked if he would prepare a table for them. He gladly did so. When he returned from the kitchen, they gave him a paper fan containing the Gospel message. He took the fan back to the sofa and read it over carefully. After they ate, they suggested that he watch a Gospel video with them on their portable player. The owner understood the video much better than the Gospel fan. He cheerfully accepted Christ as His Savior. The believers may have come to his restaurant tired and very hungry, but it was the owner who ended up very hungry in his spirit, wanting to learn more about his Savior! Pray for this new believer as he is discipled, and ask that he will have a passion to share with others.

UNREACHED PEOPLES OF NORTH BRAZIL - Pray for the children of workers Jim* and Cathy*, as they sometimes witness the harshness of life and death that is a common reality for their people group. Ask God to give wisdom to the parents and to comfort the children. Pray that they will feel God’s love as they also deal with changes resulting from their older siblings’ return to the United States for college. Ask God to give them a heart for reaching their people group, just as He has given it to their parents. (*names changed)
