| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST October 10, 2014 “Our fathers trusted in You; they trusted, and You rescued them. They cried to You and were set free; they trusted in You and were not disgraced.” (Psalm 22:4-5, HCSB) WORLD LEADERS - "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence" (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica (eastern Caribbean Sea). CENTRAL ASIAN PEOPLES COMMUNICATION TEAM - “Praise God with us for the many people who joined in a special prayer emphasis during the first 11 days of September! Pray that God will use the prayers of His people to accomplish much in the nation of Afghanistan (James 5:16). Pray for peace and stability, and ask that the people who are living in spiritual darkness will be transferred by the power of God’s grace into the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:13; 1 Peter 2:9). In October, we plan to release stories of Afghan women who have left their homeland in hopes of finding peace and security in Europe. Pray for the women who were brave enough to tell their stories to our team, asking that God will provide for them all that they need. Pray that they will believe the Gospel they’ve had the opportunity to hear and that they will turn from their sin and find new life in Christ.” CHINESE OF WESTERN NORTH AMERICA - Pray that the new church plant in Calgary, Alberta, will get off to a great beginning. While core members are already meeting for worship, the official launch date is scheduled for October 12. Pray that many lost people will come to Christ and grow to maturity in Him through the ministry of this new Chinese church.
