“May the LORD be praised, for He has heard the sound of my pleading.” (Psalm 28:6, HCSB)

WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for President Salvador Sanchez Ceren of El Salvador (Central America, between Guatemala and Honduras).

STUDENTS IN MALAYSIA - Pray for a college student named Clark*. He has heard the Good News and is fearful of making a decision for Christ because he knows that his parents will not agree with such a decision. Students from Chinese families are very reluctant to do anything that their parents won’t agree with. This is honorable, but when it comes to spiritual matters, it can become a barrier to their knowing and accepting the Truth. (*name changed)

UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS OF COLOMBIA - Thank you for your prayers for the IMB missionary and indigenous pastor from Panama who made a “vision trip” to Colombia in August. They had hoped to have an indigenous lay person accompany them, someone who could do work in the area of literacy. She was unable to participate in this visit but hopes to be a part of the next visit in November. Tule people from Panama, who are highly evangelized, visited with the handful of Colombian Tule Christians and a village of Tule who had never heard the Gospel. The Panamanians were well received, Bible stories were shared, and an invitation extended for return visits whenever possible. Thank God for contacts made on this trip and the open reception to the Gospel! Pray that members of the Tule people group from Panama will be able to share Christ with Tule in Colombia and that many people will come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
