"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, HCSB)

WORLD LEADERS - "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence" (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for Prime Minister Daniel Ona Ondo of Gabon (western equatorial Africa).

SOUTH KOREA - Near a large university, three young men were walking on a sidewalk. One had a tract in his hand and was talking and explaining the Gospel to the two other young men. It was Youth Day in the area, and many tables had been set up for games and interactive activities. Witness to students is greatly needed, because Korean youth are dropping out of the church. Long-valued traditions are being challenged, and worldly values are seeping in. Pray for creative ways to engage youth with the Good News. Pray that youth who are believers will be bold in their witness and live a life worthy of the Gospel, displaying salt and light to a generation that is searching for truth and love.

SPANIARDS OF NORTHERN SPAIN (SPAN-yurds) - “Two percent . . . it doesn’t seem like much does it? It would be a dream sales tax or an easily achievable goal--until we apply it to seeing our people group described as ‘2 percent of evangelized.’ We have been challenged by our leadership to come up with a strategy to reach this ‘2 percent evangelized’ goal by the year 2020. In our particular case, this would mean beginning three or four house churches a month, consisting of 15 people in each group. Honestly, this number feels overwhelming to us. Just the thought of it brings us to our knees before the Lord! It puts a whole new weight upon us, and while we have to be extremely intentional in all that we say or do, we must also be extremely sensitive to God’s leading and His Spirit. Please join us at the throne of grace on behalf of this 2 percent figure. Unite with us as we ask the Lord to pour out His Spirit and presence on this lost land. Pray that His Spirit will pierce the hearts of the few believers that we know in such a way that they will join with us in the endeavor of reaching the lost and pushing back the darkness in this spiritually desolate land.”
